Q: What is your Favorite childhood board?

“Probably my first board, which was a shaped Powell Peralta kids complete with no nose haha”

Q: When did you realize you fell in love with skateboarding?

Q: “What are some of your favorite memories from your early days of skating?”

“ My mom would take me and my friends on skate trips down to Eugene or the Coast when I was probably 11. Those were fun trips.”

Q: Favorite skater? Cory Juneau, no doubt!

Q: For someone stepping on a skateboard for the first time, what advice would you give them?

“Just push around and get comfortable on your board before trying to learn tricks, it will help a ton.”

Q: What’s your favorite skate video or part of all time?

“My favorite part would have to be Baker has a Deathwish.”

Q: How did you get into filming skateboarding, and what drew you to the analog/VX look?

“The story behind that comes from always being fascinated by the way VX analog looks (which most skateboarders are). I’ve always enjoyed filming, then about three years ago I found a Sony HI8 camera (DCR-TRV-350) at a thrift store, bought a fisheye for it and started bringing it to the park. Since then, I’ve acquired a couple other cameras. I’m not planning to pursue filming as of now, I just love doing it, but you never know what the future can hold.”
